What Does The Average Locksmith In Naples FL Make?

It turns out that there's three different ways to become a locksmith in Naples Florida. And what you might want to know about my personal quest of knowledge for this particular profession in the world of locksmiths in Naples Florida and my findings, is that locksmiths in Naples FL seem to make the most amount of money for the least amount of learning. In most cases I found that a locksmith in Naples FL usually do work on their own after only three months of hands on learning. But let's look into how some of these techs have become Naples locksmiths in the first place.

The most common way a locksmith in Naples FL have become a locksmith tech simply by become a journeyman or what you would call job seekers that have been hired to do ride alongs. In all reality they are trained worker that were taken into the field with other locksmiths in Naples who are employed by someone else on the job. This can be tricky because when you come into the field of locksmithing you really don't know what your labor is really worth, meaning that your boss is the only window you had to the world of locksmiths. In many cases these jobs as a locksmith in Naples (or anywhere else) will under pay you as you simply don't know your value untill you start talking to other locksmiths. But from what I believe I gathered is that most Naples locksmiths that come through the door by way of journeyman start around $36k a year. And in most cases make over $40k a year after that.

Another way to become a locksmith Naples pro, Is by father passing the knowledge down to the next generation. And even though it's not as common as you would think, in the field of locksmiths it's somewhere around 5% or less. I actually met three locksmiths in Naples Florida that their father was also a locksmith in Naples, in all the cases their father was the business owner. These local locksmiths are a little more knowledgeable and have insight that most locksmiths in Naples fl would need twice the time to learn, but for some reason earn less than the other locksmiths. The good news for those locksmiths that are 2nd or 3rd generation locksmiths is that once they don't work for their own families they seem to make more than 100k a year. I personally came with the conclusion that the reason these Naples locksmiths earn less from working for their own families is that back in the days their parents made much less and their bosses who happens to be their own fathers don't realize today's pay is much higher.

The third way to become a locksmith in Naples is to simply go to school and learn the labor trade itself. There are many programs around the country that offer locksmithing school program. But from what I found, the locksmiths that go to school to learn how to become locksmiths don't seem to stay in the field ten years later. It's my personal experience and findings that people who became locksmiths in Naples fl where less likely to open their own business causing them to maybe getting burned out for some reason. I think that maybe if your the type of person that steps into a classroom to learn something that you could have learned outside the classroom, well maybe labor work was'nt for you (just maybe on that). But to be clear there are locksmith Naples personal that did go to classrooms to learn how to be a locksmith tech but I only came across two in my whole career. On a worthy note, one of those Naples locksmiths was one of the best locksmiths I ever got to talk to. Their compensation is usually over $40k right out of school.

So who did I find that earned the most income as a locksmith Naples service tech? And remember this was just my findings during my time as a locksmith in or out of Naples. Well, the answer is the journeyman after the time of five years. And here's why that could possibly be. Most journeyman after five years seem to open up their own locksmith business in Naples where they do most of the good jobs that come in. This means they take the type of jobs that have high profits while passing the less profitable jobs to other locksmiths ''An other words they take the Crème de la crème profitable jobs''. In most cases these locksmith Naples turned business owners are likely to make between $100k to $150k a year if they have the proper advertising along with the right amount of customers.

What do locksmiths like about their job.

1. Feels like a lot of freedom because you drive around outside, and you usually eat when you want wherever you want. As a locksmith I was always able to pick up my children from school almost everyday.

2. Some Naples locksmiths never thought they could end up with nice incomes having fun.

3. You can become a business owner (as long as you have a clean background) with very little money.

4. Work schedule generally is very flexable. is very relaxed compare to most jobs.

5. There's always Naples locksmith companies that are hiring. The demand for a locksmith in Naples is big.
